I
am extremely pleased to have been given the opportunity to say a few words
in conjunction with your Annual Dinner 1997.
It is not always easy to organise
function as this, especially so for a small Branch, but the Chairman and
the Organising Committee has succeeded and must be congragulated.
This Branch has been one of the more active branches of the Society due
to both the able leadership of the Chairman and the support of members.
As The Incorporated Society of Planters move ahead towards globalization,
members will have to face up to the challenges. The spirit of co-operation
and togtherness shown by you is an indication of your ability to meet the
challenges.
