It give me great pleasure and honor to welcome all of you to the Incorporated Society of Planters, North Perak Branch Annual Dinner held at this scenic and very historical town of Taiping.

          This Branch, as would have been realized, is one of the smallest in term of membership. As such it has the dubious distinction of being one of the most inactive in the past.

         The Branch Committee had pledges sometime ago to undertake the task in all avenues in order to change this scenario and transform the Branch into an exemplary one.

         With the strong determination of the Committee and the support from Branch members, our branch has been quite active in the recent years to garner educational activities especially so with the creation of the In-House Newsletter. Our activities could help the society members to become more innovative and ready to face all challenges ahead in this competitive global market.

         No amount of thanks could suffice to express the Society's heartfelt gratitude to En. Noor Zulkarnain Nordin Aphandy, the Organizing Chairman and the Editor of our Publication House, and all members of his committee. Without their relentless efforts and selfless attitude, this event before us today would have been so successful.

         Advertisers, donors and well-wishers are especially thanked for their support and generosity, without which the Branch would faced with severe financial handicaps.

         To all members, do take the opportunity presented to us today to rekindle the good old times, as well as to renew acceptances and interact in the best possible manner.
